My blower does not come on; I turned t-stat to fan only; fan motor felt cold to touch and turns freely when spyn: defeateded the safety switch on front; checked voltage at the leads from the circuit board to fan motor for the white and black leads(124 v);
Should I connect a power cord directly to fan motor to test?

When you have the front off the furnace and depress the safety switch do you hear a click? If not you could have a bad transformer.

Have you checked anything except the fan on switch, have you tried setting the thermostat on heat to see if it works. Also there is a test terminal you can use to make the furnace go through a cycle to make sure all systems work, except the gas. Read on the bottom door for instructions.

Yes I hear a click;
The red light continues to flicker and a yellow light at the bottom of circuit board comes on.
I did set the t-stat on heat, increased the temp to 85 to get the heat to come on; no fan motor. Hopefully that cycle test will indicate problem
