    How to lighten dyed hair
HELP PLEASE! I have died my naturally light brown hair too dark and hate it. I went back to the store and bought a lighter shade and used it to no avail. I have read some of the other posts and do not understand what peroxide 20 is?? I have used three different dyes now on three consecutive nights- I don't think my hair can take much more!

You will need to strip the colour out. You can either use bleach with 9% peroxide or an artificial colour remover.
First try out the colour remover. You may need to use it several times. If that doesn't work, then please see a colourist specialist. I would not recommend using bleach at home to avoid disasters.

Honestly, if you think your hair can't take it DON'T do it. When you add colour you're actually making your hair stronger... so a little peroxide can't do any harm... Go to a salon/hair dresser, like a small joint and as them what you should do. If at all, can you just have it fixed by a real hairdresser. Life is short... and then you're dead, can't you be on the list of what to spend your money on? (Hopefully you have a little cash for yourself). Let us know what happened. Good luck. Xo
