Our landlord is selling the place and we have a contract until April 2009. What kind of compensation we can get to from it. We asked him many times to get out of the lease and today the neighbour we have a legal problem told my husbando we re moving because of her. Thank you. I am lookng for a relocation cost and moving costs to be covered.

First its not a good idea to piggyback your question on someone else's. This can lead to confusion. You should start a new thread. So I've moved your question to its own thread.

Excuse me? Why would you think you are entitled to anything? You have a lease that goes through April 2009. The fact that the landlord is selling the property has no affect on you. The new owner will have to honor the lease. The landlord does not have to let you out of the lease. He may be selling as rental property and having a tenant in place may be a selling point.
