Hi I am only 16 and I have been on my period for 3 weeks now and its really painful I also been having blood clots I am sexually active but not pregnant I haven't even started school yet because of it I really need help

My friend had a problem with her periods, too
I don't know much about what happen but I know they were lasting longer than they were supposed to
It was just something wrong with her hormones they put her on birth control to regulate her periods
