    Thumping sound
    Hi all if someone might have an idea I have a thumping sound coming from my front
    Wheel when I drive it gets slower or faster sounding with the speed of the truck.
    I have a 2003 ford ranger any idea's thanks.

    Could be something wrong with the rotor, or maybe even the axle or bearings.

    Check the tire. An unusual wear pattern may be making its presence felt or the tire may have lost a weight. Try substituting or rotating tires and see if that pinpoints the problem.

    I would check the ujoints in the axle shaft that is a common part to be replaced every other year or so. Or even check your hubs it is a automatic locking hub those have be known to go bad

    Check you control arm bushings,once they are worn you'll get the clunk clunck every time you hit a bump.
