    Penis development
My husband keeps advising me to wait.
My son is 10 years old and his penis is probably (maybe) up to my second joint of my pinky finger and I have small goved hands. My hubby says it will change with puberty.
I am a social worker and have worked on telephone counselling. I do not want to stress everyone out but one of the most frequent calls is from men with small penis's. My son is introverted and self-critical. He will not change with the other boys or toilet with them. I have male cousins, this does not seem to be normal.
What do you think I should do?
For those who have judged other mothers on this topic consider the love we have and the care we take. We want our children comfortable and accepted your locker room antics are as much to blame as cosmo and dolly.

Is he chubby. If he is he may have a fat pad above his genital area. He can press on his lower abdomen and pull it up a bit and his penis should"pop" out.

Even if he has a small penis. There is nothing you can do about it.

There are many reasons that kids are self conscious. I wouldn't worry about his penis being the cause at that young age. If it's an option for you, I would suggest going to see a child psychologist.

Your son is normal, and will be what he will be. The problem is in his self image, and that is where he needs help.

Just what where you planning on doing, about the size of a ten year old??
