Pregnancy and diesel fumes - stressed out!!
Hi all, I am pregnant and stressed. I'll make this simple (I hope)... we moved countries and got some of our belongings shipped over. I am now 8 weeks pregnant and our shipment arrived a couple of days ago, it has been on a boat for a few weeks and when we got it it smelt of diesel.

I am now stressing about the smell and inhaling as I read on the internet that diesel can be toxic and I am worried that the smell may have caused harm to the baby.

Any ideas from anybody or thoughts would be great.

    Thanks

I don't think you're in immediate danger but it could certainly make you feel ill to inhale it for too long.

Just air things out or wash the best you can and try to avoid the fumes as much as possible.
