Baseboard Heaters & Heat - Wattages
Hello Out There!
The house I am living in, has NO heat (other than the sun). The old natural gas furnace did not work any more, and was ripped out.
We are looking at baseboard heaters as it is a small house (2 bedroom, open concept lvng rm, kitchen, dining area, 1 tiny washroom).
What I am looking for is information on these wattages - the heaters I am looking at range from 300w to 2500w. But how do I figure out what would be addequate for my needs with out going overboard? Obviously 2500w is going to heat more area faster than a 300w but how do I figure out how much area 300w, 500w, 1000w etc will take care of?
What I am looking at right now, is 1 baseboard in the living room, one in the dining room, 1 in each bedroom and a small one (3 or 500 watt) in the washroom. But I don't know how big, or small I should be going for the other ones...
HELP!
