Does a Leaky valve = Replacement?
I just finished installing a new sink with a new faucet, and now, every time I turn on the cold water valve, it leaks like crazy.

When I started the project, it was very tight and now it's easy to hand-turn. Since it leaks like this, should I replace it, or is there something that just needs tightening?

I'm thinking the packing nut may be leaking at the shutoff.

Start by tightening the packing nut (behind handle) a 1/2 turn or so and see if that helps... see picture below.

Let me know if this is it or not.. ok?
