Most car salesmen in general (as far as I have heard) get paid for each car they sell.
If they don't sell any, the dealership pays them, but you have to pay it back. (like a loan)

There are dealerships that I have been employed at that will give a base pay, then commisson. I don't know about Nissan dealerships.

First there is no one Nissan dealership, each dealership is owned by different people or companies, so what one dealership pays has nothing to do with antoher. You will find different pay within all the dealerships
