    Electric shower
    I have an electric shower which keeps blowing the fuse.IT is connected with 10mm wiring,to a pull cord of 45 amp fusage,then on to my fuse box,the fuse in it for shower is 30amps,it keeps blowing,it is a brand new shower.I just replaced it beacause old one kept bloing too,it is an 8.5 kw shower.

    I fear you have your mm and KW ratings incorrect...

    10 mm wiring? That is good for 200 Amps+
    8.5 KW shower? That would require at 220 Volt around 39 Amps, and at 110 Volt 78 Amps.
    As far as I know "electric" showers have capacities in the order of around 1 or 2 KW maximum.

    Please check your data !

    Sorry,I'm in uk,as far as I, know 10mm is fine for 8.5 kw shower,and 30 amp fuse sufficient,was wondering if fuse holder and cable going into it could be damaged,as fuse holder is a bit blackened
