    Dog in danger
I consider my dog as family and he is only 6 weeks old, I bought him and then I washed him twice in some flea and tick killing shampoo, he ate and walked around no more than 5 minutes, so I picked him up and seen 2 fleas on his face... omg... I wrapped him in a lot of blankets and put him in a tote in the garage but I'm scared.. will he be okay... how do I get rid of flees?. I feel horrible... but we have small kids in the home so I couldn't danger

You absolutely can't leave that pup in a tote in a blanket in the garage. What a horrible thing to do to a baby !

BAD, BAD, BAD! A tote/blanket and then in the garage?? That's animal ABUSE! It's super simple to take care of. Bring the pup to a groomer. It'll cost probably under $30.00 for the flea shampoo and don't you think your family is worth the guarantee? It'll be done by professionals and you can exhale and relax. Please treat a baby animal as if it were a baby human? You chose him... so take care of him PLEASEEEEEEEEE!

You have to wash the dog and the bedding and carpet, flees hide everywhere, on your clothes in your closet. Flees are a pest, but you said you considered the dog as part of your family. If you find a flee on one of your children what are you going to do to the child?

Can't believe there are so many people adopting dogs so young, it is actually illegal for someone to sell you a pup less than 8 weeks old. And you have to be very very careful using any kind of chemicals on a pup that young. Many vets can bathe them for you.
