    Looking for chrome pipe brackets
I am installing some 1/2" exposed chrome pipe in my shower. I will be adding a rain shower head about 3' (center of shower) away from the regular head. I have it planned and routed and have located all the chrome pipe, fittings, etc. Drilling and mounting to the tile is not a problem. I have been searching high & low for brackets to hold the horizontal run. I would prefer something chrome, but am open to other ideas also. One idea is in the attached pic, but these seem to be more for tubing instead of pipe. There are a lot of various clamping system, but most look like they belong in a warehouse.

    Any Ideas

    Thanks

    Hi DB6000

One thing that pops into my head at this point is the galvanized f&m split ring (see picture)... and if lucky sometimes they have chrome plated available. These can be found at home depot or at a local plumbing supply house.

However, I think these are what you are looking for... d-ring shower supports (see picture of d-ring and hanger/support)... click on this link for more info.

AOL Image Search results for "d-ring shower rod support"

Most likely will only find/order them at a local plumbing supply house. Ask to look at one up close and see if they can order more d-ring shower rod supports.

Let me know what you think...
