    Hair dye - brunette
I've been dying my hair at home for years, a chocolate brown but unfortunately the dye seemed to grab my length and not my crown or roots area. After a few months, I re-dyed using a darker shade of brown but after a few washings I'm back to having darker hair on the bottom than of top. How can I fix it?? I need help, as I wash this problem will get worst!

The color probably wasn't applied evenly. To balance the color, apply your color product to the roots first. Let sit for 5 minutes on the roots, then add the rest of the color on your hair and comb through to the ends. Leave it in for the time recommended, minus the five minutes you spent on roots only. I don't know what kind of hair dye you're using, I recommend that you use Loreal or Revlon.
