My gerbil had a baby and I don't know the first thing about gerbil babies! AUGH
I got 2 gerbils from the pet store a while ago and was told they were both males. One of them started getting fat, I thought I just had a lazy gerbil. NOW THERE'S A LITTLE BABY IN THEIR CAGE! What do I do? We can't afford another cage! How do I separate them? I heard they can get pregnant right after birth! Do I have to sell them all to the pet store? I don't know the first thing about baby gerbils! It looks like there's only 1. Isn't there like a whole litter born? AUGHH :(

Well if it is anything like hamsters don't touch them or the bedding and leave them to it, just keep making sure the mother is OK, plenty of food, and water. Then start trying to find homes, then learn which sex is which because you need to get rid of them, pet stores do normally have suppliers but keep ringing round until you find them homes. I am not sure at what age they can leave the nest. So search the net for information
