If I am unemployed and married and my son's mother takes me to court for child support, will my wife have to pay support for me until I find another job?

I don't believe so. Your son is your responsibility and his mothers, not your wife's. What court system could honestly look at this any different. Hope things work out for you.Quote:

But if you are not working, there will be a min amount set, while differs from state to state, a est would be min wage at 30 hours a week, and then your child support willl be set at that. And of course if you don't pay, they can do bad things to you, so most likely your wife will want to pay this to help keep you out of court and/or jail
