I am wanting to try something different with my hair. I have long hair that is dark brown. I am thinking about dying it red underneath and leaving the top dark brown. What do you think?

I think that would look really good, but I wouldn't have a bright red... maybe a burgandy colour.

Before you commit your head to this, why don't you try one of those can spray colours which wash out,just to see what it will look like and to be sure it's the correct colour for you before you dye it for real,. so to speak...

Yes that sounds lovely I've seen a few people with similar colours,go for a lightish red that'll look really nice.

I tried dying my hair from dark brown to copper red and ended up with roots that are the right colour of auburn but the rest of my hair stayed a dark brown red. How can I fix this? I was going to try colour fix that you can buy at sally's beauty supply but the lady at sally's told me I shouldn't unless I was a professional. Has anyone else had success doing this without the experience? Help please I have to go away on business in 2 weeks and don't have the money to go to the salon to have it fixed.
