Should I call her?


So there was this girl that I used to work with, her name was Sara, it has been about two years since I have talked to her. We got along really well had a lot of things in common and I was finding that she flirted with me just about every day her and I worked together (well, I was flirting back too, not going to lie!)

There where multiple times that she had asked me if I wanted to do something after work or get something to eat, I declined each time (Now that I think about it I wish I would have said yes)

Anyway on my last day we talked in the parking lot for like 20 minutes, She wanted to go out with me….. I told her that I just came from breaking up with my ex and did not want to get into anything right now, she seemed disappointed but she gave me her phone number and told me to give her a call sometime….. well I never did.


So I recently talked to a another friend that still works there and she told me that she believes that she is seeing someone…She also told me that she has "changed" some ever since see has been seeing this guy... don't know if this is good or bad?


I have wanted to call her for like a year but I just never picked up the phone to do it!


Do you think I should call her if she is seeing someone? ….. if it turned out to just be a friendship for now that is totally fine with me



Do I look like a dumb a** for waiting so long to call?


By the way I am 19, almost 20 and she is 19.

It's okay to call her, as long as you know your boundaries. If she's seeing someone, don't try to appear to be a relationship wrecker... Who knows, you could end up with a great friend in the whole process. I think you already know what you're going to do though.

Always okay to call and catch up with an old friend

You can call but don't expect anything. She might not want to talk to you and might tell you not to call her. Just be open for anything.

Well I called her, She answered and I told her who I was and she was like "o ok"... not even a hello back... I was like it been a while... she said yea it has... asked her how she was and if she's stilling working at the same place... She Said she quit in Jan and is now working at the police station and going to school for law enforcement... just started class today... I was Yea me to... Then I bring it up if she wanted to get together some time and have lunch or something... she saw Like sure... OK I will give you a call next week OK?. ok... Bye... have a good night bye...

Soooo... not the best conversation I have had with a girl but hey now I know how she feels...

Just by the tone of her voice I could tell she was not thrilled to hear from me... Not even in a friend type matter I though but that could just be me too... I guess waiting two years to call her back mint have piss her off a little.. :)


Anyway I Am unsure would to do now... call her back like I said and see if she wants to go to lunch?. If I don't call she will think I am a real a** hole... but like I would care because I would never see her anyway

IDK I think I blew this one by not calling her back sooner

Things can change, she may liked u before, maybe not now, since 2 years hs gone, do u expect this girl to wait for u that long? If she met some other guy and its not her fault, u may call her and ask whether she want to go out for lunch with u or so, and see what she will say.

You should call her back!! You said you would so you should! If she didn't want to go for lunch then she could have said no or was busy. Then when you hang out you can talk and see how that goes. If she isn't seeing another guy and you still like her just start being friends and hanging out and then talk about how you feel!! :)

Thanks for both of your answers, Yea if it was just a friendship to come out of it I would be totally fine with that... If a relationship were to ever come out of it, well I will take it as it comes

What I don't understand is why you didn't want to hang out with her before all this, you know, when you worked together? Were you really seeing someone or did you just like that she was into you?

How many times can you reject someone until they get the message, and move on?? Bad timing, and you waited to long. The window of opportunity closed a long time ago.

Surely you can find something else to do.

Go for her then... there's a cute girl in my class too but I'm keeping my head straight for a bit... need to focus on myself
