What size breaker should be used for a 3 ton ac unit? Our ac is drawing twice as much power then it should. :eek:

It all depends upon the unit. The exact current draw will be stated on the outside unit identification plate. Some units will use more current than others depending upon the efficiency of the unit. Post back with the numbers off the plate.
