My kitten is around about 1 to 2 months old and she has one runny eye its only on the left side she isn't sick she's very well playful she drinks and eats and I noticed about 4 days ago I wash it off every day she hasn't had a change in diet or anything but I need to know is there anyway I can help stop her runny little eye besides the vet

Your cat most likely has an eye infection. If you continue to clean it out it should get better slowly. But without medicine it can spread to the other eye and also to any other cats you have. Then you would have a heck of a time getting rid of it. Trust me, I know. If you call the vet and explain, he or she can give you a little tube of medicine that you can squirt into the eye every couple of hours. I'm not sure what it's called as there are several brands. I don't think it costs much... but it's worth it. I think you can only get it from the vet. I don't think you have to TAKE your cat unless it gets really bad.
(If it goes untreated it can get so bad that 1) the eye will close or 2) the cat will go blind. It's happen several, several times to us.)

But can I go to like a pet store and ask about it and see if they sell anything because the vet is expensive from 50 to more just to get talked to and then I have to wait its not very bad bad but I do wipe it out and I don't know what to do is there any like eye drops for kittens or something besides from the vet because vets are expensive

You could try the pet store... they might have something. The medicine I have for my cats isn't drops it's like a clear cream-ish... You put it in the eye, almost on the eyeball. I'm so sorry I couldn't help more!

ITS OKAYYY u helped way enough ill definitely be going to the pet store but her eyes look better already after I wipped it 2 times I don't know ill see tomorrow ecause I do not want my baby sick thank you

Most vets are understanding if you are low on funds and can't afford medical bills. Call a vet and tell him the problem. Also, mention the financial thing. No vet wants an animal to suffer. He or she will give you suggestions on what to do.

No, it's aparently not contagious to humans. I was worried it might be, but my cats have had it time after time and I've never gotten it.

My cats are fine now, but yes, they still get it. Whenever my cats have kittens (which is often), after a few weeks they usually end up getting the infection. I'm not sure why, though. Once one kitten gets it, it spreads to the other kittens. My adult cats don't get it often. Not even the mother. But I keep several tubes of medicine handy just in case. If the infection get too bad it can be deadly. We've had two small kittens die from it because a cat had her kittens where we couldn't get to them (she was outside when she had them). I'm not trying to worry you... just warn you.
