The Network path was not found
    Hi everyone please solve this,

I install Windows XP on a machine(com1) and configure in LAN . I Ping and access another
Machine from this machine (com1) but no one access or ping my machine (com1).
This machine is also connected on internet .

When I try to access "com1" from another machine with this" \\192.168.1.8 " then I got a error message :-- The Network path was not found.

Thanks in advance for this .
    :)

You likely have a Windows Firewall or other software based firewall that is blocking the access from the other machines. If the firewall is configured to block ICMP responses, then you will not get a return from a ping.
