Electronically converion 110vac to 220v ac
    Hello All,

How can I convert my hp laserjet 1200 printer (110V ac ) to 220V ac.
Its of 3A and 300 Watts. I can't put a step down transformer in it.
That's why I need to do it electronically.
If someone can help me with the schematic, I will be very thankfull.

    Best Regards.

Contact HP service and see how much the will charge you for a 120/240 switchable power supply.

    KISS
I don't want to steer you wrong, but looking at the specs, it could possibly be either. If it has a brick, check the ratings. Look through the manual to see if there is a switch. Look at the nameplate careully. I'm willing to bet that all you need is a correct power cord, the printer will do it on it's own. Contact HP
