I have a panasonic dvd Recorder dmr-EZ17, an Emerson ewv404 VCR, an RCA Guide Pluc Gold TV, a Venturer Souround Sound System and Dish Network displayer-dvr. The Panasonic recorder I received as a gift this past Christmas but my aversion to electronic hookup kept it in the box. The other parts (vcr and surround sound) were existing but due to a move, haven't been hooked up to this TV. Currently we no longer capable of getting our satellite on in our living room (tv1) but can still view upstairs (tv2) what can I do?

The same thing happened to me last week when I hooked up a new receiver. TV2 played as expected but I could not control TV1. Unintentionally I had connected my TV to the TV2 video out on my dish reveiver, instead to the TV1 output.
