    Should be combined with other post - yes, a felon can go to nursing school. The question is whether following school the felon can pass the background check and the only way to know is to finish school, present credentials and explanation and see what the decision is.

    "Usually" convicted felons cannot be involved in patient care and/or anything involving medication.

    Nope, sorry. Most nursing schools do a background check prior to even accepting you. If you have any sort of background whatsoever, you will not be accepted to nursing school.

    Again, NO, a felon would not be accepted to Nursing School. You must have a squeaky clean background to be accepted to nursing school. You are dealing with the lives of many people as well as many medications, including narcotics.

    Most schools do a background check prior to accepting a student into their program.
