2005 Ford Explorer Turn Signal Problems
I have a 2005 Ford Exploer. The turn signals in both directions work when the vehicle is first turned on. After a while, neither direction will work. The lights will come on but not flash. I have tried the emergency flashers and they work.

I just replaced a rear bulb and the others work fine. I cannot figure this out.
    Help Anyone!!

There is no way to diagnose this without the vehicle right in front of me, but I'd venture to guess that the muti-function switch (that operates both the turn signals and hazard lights) has malfunctioned. There is virtually nothing else I could imagine to go wrong as this is a fairly simple system with no major elecrtical components that could fail. Both turn and hazard share the same flasher element. I might replace that element first because it's far less expensive and far easier to replace than the multifunction switch. Then, if that fixes it, you're done!
Let us know what you find.

Good afternoon. My 2005 Ford Explorers, left turn signal indicator (inside the interior dash area) does not light up. It works when you turn on the switch but no light.. Thanks again
