    Behavior
    Dear sir
I want to know which of the followng is true and which is false about territorial behaviour in animals?please tell me why you say that and if it is possible give me an example too
1-it provides some protection from predators
    2-increase intra-specific competition for food
    Thanks a lot

#1 is more an issue of coloniality than of territorial behavior.

For #2 don't you mean intraspecific cooperation, rather than competition?

Territoriality does help protect agains't predators in that it is much easier to tell if something is in your territory but it also hindersit as you are the only target!
And it decreases intra specific competition as you are the only competitor in your territory
