    Hi Seeking...

What is the name brand of the faucet..? And is this a single handle faucet..?

Usually you would take handle off and then use the cartridge puller to spin the cartridge up and out and then pull up on the cartridge and remove it!

    Let me know...

I'm going to assume that you have a Moen Cartridge,(see image) and you're asking about a Moen Cartridge puller, (see image).
First you remove the handle and the horseshoe like clip from the cartridge.
Place the Cartridge Puller over the cartridge so the "posts" of the puller fit the slots of the cartridge, tighten the screw on the puller handle into the top of the cartridge. See if you can break the "O" rings loose by twisting the puller, Now just turn the pullers handle clockwise while holding the base of the puller and the cartridge will be pulled up and out of the valve body. Good luck, Tom

    Hello seeking,

First of all tell us the name brand of the faucet as Mark asked you in post #2, Beside the tool that Tom has posted, some faucets (Cartridges) removal requires a special tool to remove the nut holding the cartridge down, Thanks.
