First I'd like to say hello to everyone on this forum and thank you to those who respond.. Im backed up on my mortgage and after numerous calls to my Lender ,nothing, theirs no program available they can't modify my loan nothing... So I received a civil action summons and was told to respond by 20 days Meanwhile I carry two jobs to support my family (Wife and 2 kids Infant & Toddler) I never had a chance to see a lawyer and don't know how the heck I let the 20 days go by but the date came & went now I don't know what my options are , when will I be Evicted... I cannot afford to get councling from a lawyer therefore I'm seeking whatever advice I can get thank you.

Can vary from lender to lender, I have know many that let you get 8 to 10 months behind before they actually foreclose but some do it on the second month.

I will say of course any lender can modify if they want, this lender must have no desire to. Was the summoms for a judement, or for a foreclosure

I'm not sure It just said civil action summons I think they wanted a response to why we haven't paid or if we we're going to pay Im not sure but It's pretty thick though...
