A/C condensing unit not working-110 degrees,desperate seniors
Tried all afternoon to reach our A/C man, who was here on Tuesday (when nothing was wrong with the A/C; just have him take a look at it). Everything was fine and working/cooling O.K. Suddenly this afternoon the condensing unit stopped working.
We checked the fuse box and turned the fuses on and off, we tried carefully with a stick, as suggested on this forum, to give the fan blades a 'jump start', but nothing happened.
Inside airhandler is working as is the inside blower, as we can tell.
Since it is here outside 110 degrees and the inside temperature is climbing and climbing, now at 88 degrees, we are absolutely desperate as to what to do tonight, since the BR is already 92 degrees.
PLEASE, is there someone kind and knowledgeable in A/C condensing unit matters on this FORUM who can give me another idea what to check?
Almost melting away  , Suchende
