My ex wife lets our 12 year old son smoke pot. I have seen it, my current wife and my sister have all seen it. My ex wife also showed my current wife pictures of her and her current husband out at sex parties. Basically I think they are swingers. My ex wife has called me several times saying her husband is having affairs, she said she told him she was leaving him. She left a message on my answering machime saying he was running around the house with gun threating to kill himslef if she left him. She also said he was doing this in front of our two children. We have been divorced since 1999. I an not in my two kids life that I had with her but I also don't think this is appropriate behavior. What should I do?

You need to go to court and file for custody take a list of everything you know and tell the Judge your concerns.

Yes, there seems to be some issue in your stories, if you want to give up your rights to this family, you need more help than they do.

I am sorry, but I am mainly sorry for the children. First, why are you not involved in there lives? This is a critical time right now and they may need both parents. You can remember how it was to be a teen and now a days it is worse. I have a total of five boys and the older two are from a previous marriage. My ex was not involved with them from age 2.5 and now the oldest is almost 16. He has now came back into his life and I can see a difference in him. I think that you need to do what is right and that is to make sure that no matter what your children have an opportunity to be what they want in life. The only way to do that is to make sure they are in a safe and loving environment.
