Dishwasher light will not start and the ligh keeps flashing

It sounds like your dishwasher is locked do u have a heated dry button if u do hold it down for 3 seconds if that does not work try it again for 5 seconds and if that does not work then your control panal is out and u would need service or maybe a new control board
