    False negatives?
    Someone please help me.
I just had a baby on April 15th and I started getting my regular periods June 7th. I got my second on July 7th. And was expecting one August 7th. I am still waiting for it to come. I went back to work on July 22, I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. I have taken 5 pregnancy test. All negative. I only had sex once since my last period (with a condom) it was a few days after July 7th.

Are you still breatfeeding? That can contribute to irregular periods.

Normally women who do not breastfeed may get their first period as early as a month or two after giving birth. For breastfeeding moms, the first period waits until you cease to breastfeed. This is not true for every woman. Women who are into heavy breastfeeding may not get their first period for as long as six months. Some may start to menstruate after 3 or 4 months.

You just had a baby, your body is still recovering, is it any wonder that your period is off? I wouldn't worry too much, but if you are really concerned then go see your doctor.

As for the breastfeeding, I didn't get my period for 2 years while I breastfed my daughter, and then all of a sudden I did, even though I was still breastfeeding, so BlakeCory, it's not true that it will only come after you stop breastfeeding.

Also, remember, you ovulate before you get your period, so using breastfeeding as a form of birth control doesn't work. Many women have back to back pregnancies without even having a period.

    Good luck.
