Hi my name is sherii and I have a friend that has been seeing black shadows. She woke up this morning and felt something touch her arm and while she was driving to work this black shadow has been following her she has seen this shadow in her car next to a church and at work. She feels like death is coming and I have no idea what to tell her or where to take her but she is very scared. Therefore my question is what do these black shadows mean and why are they following her?

The good news is that death is coming, for us all, eventually. The strangest part of your post is the fact that she felt the black shadow. Biblically speaking spirits do exist but so does mental illness. It is safe to say that it can only fall into either category.

As a friend it's hard to know just how much help to give someone. Being there to support her and remind her that she is not alone. We all try so hard to be normal so we can feel valued. Be careful not to look down on her or dismiss her as being crazy. Regardless of the cause it is her reality.

It may be shadow people but I haven't heard of shadow people touching anybody.
BUT up until a few months ago you couldn't even see them except out of the corner of your eye either. Now people are seeing them straight ahead as well. Most people believe they are people in another dimension and they are more aware of us than we are of them.

Shadow People

This sounds like Shadow People, there are a race of beings, called shadow beings. They are usually about 6 and half feet tall, some wear a black hat and a long black trench coat. Others do not, These are beings that pass though our demension. However they usually do not follow people around like that. They usually pass as shadows on the walls, or can be looking at us in our bedrooms when we sleep, as people have waken up and seen a tall dark figure staring at them, then he just walked through the walls and dissappeared.

This shadow people phenomenon just keeps getting more and more interesting. Reassure your friend that it is not death. Even if it is, there is an old story about that, about the man who sees death in a crowd and death gives him a funny look, so he runs away to a distant city and meets death there the next day. Death takes him away, but as they go, the man asks, "Why did you meet me the other day in that far-away city, and give me a funny look?" Death replies, "I was just startled to see you there, when I knew I had an appointment to meet you here!"

Anyway, my instinct is that these things are not death, nor angels, nor demons, nor human ghosts, nor any order of spirit that we are used to here on planet Earth. They are something else. The barrier between our world and theirs is wearing thin, as our world enters a period of great transformation. If your friend sees (or especially touches!) the shadow being again, ask her to speak to it. Maybe it will give us some information. If so, I'd love to hear it! Keep in mind--that which is unknown or alien is not necessarily hostile. To paraphrase something Dumbledore said shortly before his death: Fear of death, fear of the dark, are really just the fear of the unknown, and that can be conquered by our curiosity.

If it is malevolent, it feeds on fear, so do not give it anything to feed upon. But maybe it only looks dark from our side of the veil. When we see these beings clearly, we may be very glad they showed up!

I also will be looking into this, and will post whatever I discover.

My wife had seen the same thing when she was 12 years old.She says the same thing you do.That it felt like death following her.9 years later I take her out of the house she was in and she talked about this shadow being evil.that it made everyone in the house evil. I had seen it first hand.I used to hate going in that house because the hairs would stand up on my whole body when I entered.When I rescued her from the evil things that people were doing and moved into our own house when she was 21, her mom passes first three months later.then her grandfather passed exactly 30 days from then.Then her aunt passed away 2 weeks later and finally her grandmother 3 weeks later.her brother went physco and is in the mental hospital.these were all of the people that lived in this house, there are no more, they are all dead except her brother who is mentally dead.whatever these shadow people are, they are not worth being around.bad thing seem to follow.

I think some people have been watching too many Matrix re-runs
