Physics Homework, Plane Mirrors
Hello! I have a bit of a sticky question, well at least it is sticky for me anyhow. I think for the sake of keeping things clear I will just write the question on here.
A person 1.75 meters tall stands 2.25 meters in front of a full-length mirror plane mirror.
A) How tall is the image?
B) How far behind the mirror is the image located? What type of image is it?
C)If the person now walks toward the mirror, what happens to the size of the image?
What Im wondering is if there is a special formula for plane mirrors? I know the formula for concave, but am having trouble figuring out this question. Quite frankly I don't have a clue what to do with it.
Any help that you could give me to at least set me in the right direction would be awesome!
Thanks so much!
