    Squeeky Kenmore clothes washing machine
We just replaced the coupler (a common problem I understand) between the motor and the gear box in a 6 year old Kenmore. It is back to working properly, but part way through the first load, it started to squeak. That wasn't happening before I replaced the coupler. I am wondering if there was suppose to be a washer between the coupler and the gearbox? Or is there something else, maybe that caused the coupler to break in the first place?

I see your method of replacing the coupler did not work so well.

Well, a little spray with WD-40 and the squeeking went away. I did find out that the "dogs" on the agitator were worn out, so I replaced them while I was working at it. Everything seems to be OK now.
