    L1-B eligibility-Urgent and Important
    Hi,
I have got 37 months of software technical experience and working for a software company for those 37 months. I have completed my engineering in computer science back ground. Am I eligible for L1 visa if my employer wants to apply one for me?

    Thanks in advance.

L1 category does not have education requirements but has specific requirements for employers/companies transferring employee's to United States. Organizations have to show a relationship with the company they are transferring to in the United States also with L1B what specialized knowledge you have that cannot be found in US.

From an employee standpoint you should be fine however your company showed use an experienced immigration attorney to file for your L1.

L1 visa is a non-immigrant visa which allows companies operating both in the US and abroad to transfer certain classes of employee from its foreign operations to the US operations . The employee must have worked for a subsidiary, parent, affiliate or branch office of your US company outside of the US for at least one year out of the last three years. The employee can be either manager/executive or specialist staff.

So if your company agrees with your qualification, you are fine but filing papers should be done by experienced attorney.
