Purple hair back to normal or another color
I bleached my hair blonde then put purple all over. Turned out beautiful. Now I want to go to an eggplant color. I buy my products at Sally's or another beauty salon and do it myself. Do u suggest I strip the purple out of my hair? If so how and what product do u recommend? Then can I try an eggplant color? If so do you suggest a specific color from Sally's and what products will I need for this?

I would say normally if you are going a darker colour that covers up the current colour! I have had my hair all kinds of colours! You do however want to avoid bleaching your hair more than you have to!

Could you not ask at the store where you buy the colour their advice?

I would ask someone at a salon. I had mine purple and have hoped it would grow old but has been about 7 months and looks terrible now

Thank you for your advise. I ended up going to a beauty store like sally's asked their advise and they had me buy a small bottle of volume 10 ( for depositing color, not lifting color) I bought a bottle that had ounces marked on the side. One ounce of the color to 2 ounces of the 10 volume. The color I end up getting was ----Wella color charm 507/505 burgandy. (It is more of a brownish color with burgandy/reddish tint to it) It turned out beautiful and have had many compliments on my hair. In the back you can still see a very tiny bit of purple if you look hard enough in the sun. I have had this in since Fri and it is now Sunday washed my hair twice so far and the color has not faded yet. I am going to stay this color for a while. The lady said it might fade quicker than normal the first time coloring, but the second coloring will last longer. I only spent $25. I asked the beautician how much she would charge me for all over color she said $60. So I got off pretty cheap
