I used to have (dyed) permanent mid brown to dark hair and semi permanent red highlights and I wanted to get the same colour with my roots to let it grow and stop dying it.. AND IT TURNED BLACK!

So:

How can I fade that in to a NORMAL dark brown? I need this done in 24 hours, I'm not expecting miracles though.. Any home remedies? Money crunch, LOL.

P.S.: I'm covering my face because I had a huuge pimple, :D

Use a clarifying shampoo. It will help fade it out. The more you use it, the more it fades the colour. Some folk on here have used head and shoulders to fade hair colour and it worked for them.
Just remember that clarifying shampoos are very drying for the hair so use a rich conditioner after. :)

Hey, I had natural ash blonde hair before I dyed it actually perm. Black, and I've used 1part lemon juice mixed with 4part conditioner, first I just did a streak and went out as a normal day, it just happened to be sunny, and it turned it to a golden brown.

Also, I've been using head & shoulders anti-dandruff shamboo.

My hair has gotten to a red/brown in the light and my roots are coming through really quick!

So wiat, you had your hair black? And then you put lemon juice and conditioner in it, withought rincing it back out, and you went outside and your hair just turned back to brown? Just like that? Because I accidentally dyed my hair black 2 days ago.. and I realllly want it back to my normal brown colour.. helpp me! Please!? :P
