I have a 2yr old dacshund that we have had since 6 weeks old. He has been raised around my 4 children. He attacked my 9 yr old & bit him several months ago, This has happened a few times but a couple of days ago he attacked him again, my son started screaming out of fear , the last time he bite him he left a scare on my sons chin where he broke skin. My son went to pet him this time & he attacked luckily my son got away from him before he done damage. I spanked Nick the dog & put him outside, but I don't want to keep him with not knowing what he may do & when & to whom. My children love him but what should I do.
