    Generator Voltage
    HELP:

I have a new Coleman 1350 generator that has 2 - 120 volt receptacles on it. The problem is that the 120 volt receptacles are putting out 240 volts. I've looked for some way to get the right wiring combination, but I don't see any way to correct. The company who made the generator is no longer in business and Coleman isn't supporting the problem.

My question is: Is there any way to get 120 voltage back to these receptacles short of rewiring the generator?

It may be 240 volts between both hots of both recepticles with a common neutral.
Can you provide a picture, drawing, or description of wiring colors and connections?

The generator has 4 leads coming from it 2 yellow, 1 black and 1 white. The two yellow leads go into a separate capacitor . The black goes into the circuit breaker and then out to the receptacle. The white goes to the opposite side of the receptacle. A ground is attached from the receptacle to the fram. See attached drawing.
