Did these creditors get judgements and attach your account before you filed? Are these bills listed in your bankruptcy filing?
I find it a little strange that your lawyer would want more money to do this. If these judgements were included in your bankruptcy filings then the lawyer should know how to handle this,
I know of several people that had judgements and there accounts frozen but as soon as they filed bankruptcy the levy was lifted.
All of the debts, including judgements should be included in the bankrutpcy, and the debtor should have been notified, have you supplied the bank with a copy of the bankrutpcy filing listing that debtor.
