Well I just thought I'd update those of you who gave me advice, I told him. And although he says he wishes he felt the same, he doesn't have stronger feelings than friendship. I got to admit it hurts a little but I will get over it because our friendship is very special to me, and I want nothing more than to keep him in my life even if it is only through friendship. I know its going to be a little awkward for some time because I told him and then again maybe it won't be I'm not really sure. Im kind of just questioning whether it will be easy after this? After a girl tells a guy that she has been friends with for a while that she likes him as more than a friend, and the guy doesn't have the same feelings but he says he absolutely loves being your friend. Kind of makes me question wheter or not he will be able to look past this whole thing and continue being friends with me without slowly backing away. Is it possible? I guess I'm just worried about losing him.

Yes, it is possible and if the friendship is important to him, he will want to keep it intact.

We are kind of in the same boat, my boyfriend left me, but still keep in touch, and he want to be friend,we still talk to each other often, and I tried hard don't show feelings for him, but sometimes he would flirt me a little in a friendly way, its difficult for me,because, I would believe he is still mine,but the truth is,he is with other girl,its hard, yes, I know. But we need to get over them.
