Hello well I'm really worried 3 weeks ago I had sex with a men with out protection and I went to the hospital because the next day I went to the bathroom and peed blood so they told me I had cystitis I took one antibiotic and it stop but I didn't finished the treatment , 2 weeks later I had sex with another man but with protection while I was having sex I had pain and the condom got stuck inside me, the next day I felt the same burning sensation and blood when I was in the bathroom so I took the same pills and I look for information about the antibiotic and it said it also cure chlamydia I got scared because that day I also got my period I'm about to finish the antibiotic treatment but I'm scared that I really had chlamydia and now my sexual partner has it to..

So the only reason you think you have chlamydia is because the medicine you took will also cure chlamydia? The reason that your antibiotic will cure chlamydia is because the doctor gave you a general broad-spectrum antibiotic.

Cystitis is simply an inflammation of the lining of the bladder, which is a symptom of chlamydia... but I feel that your doctor should have done a std panel. The reason that he/she didn't do it is possibly because he/she believed that the antibiotic would fix everything. There's a good chance that your infection didn't fully clear up, and now the infection has built up a tolerance for the infection you have.

Go back to the doc, get a std panel run, and see if they'll give you another script for a diff antibiotic.
