I think your terms are just a little vague but I think you mean a bathroom exhaust fan w/lights. These fans do not recirculate air but are designed to exhaust them outside the home. Some duct work is needed but you can use flexible 3" round duct. Do I iderstand your situation correctly?

I agree with Ballenger, they are meant to exhaust to the outside to work properly. There are non-vented fans that use a charcoal filter but they are for odors not moisture.
