    Probation Violation
Hi my boyfriend is on probation. His is sentenced to 5 years. He has already served 2 years of this sentience. He has done all his community service and has seen his OP by the 10th of every month with out missing. He one day got a bright idea and for the first time he violated his probation by leaving the county to visit a family member. Unfortunately he made an even dumber choice and went to a bar with this family member. Needless to say his PO's boss was at this bar and saw him. They arrested him on a first time probation violation. Now we are waiting for his hearing to see what the judge wants to do. He just received a letter stating that his PO is recommending he spends the remainder of his time locked up, even though he has done so good till this incident. Will the judge listen the PO and sentence him the next 2 to 3 years in prison. We have some friends that on now on their second or third probation violation and still get out to rome the earth. We have a good lawyer but is there anything I can do I have never been in trouble with the law and have a good job. Can his PO really revoke his probation. Please Help With any info I can possibly use to get him out of jail and back to work. I will do anything.:(

The PO has already revolked the probation that is why he is locked up awaiting the hearing, Now it is up to the judge as to what to re-sentence.
The PO can ask for what he wants, the judge may nor may not listen to what the PO wants, remember most likely the PO believes this happens all the time since they caught them thierself. Also it was the PO's boss that caught them, so he must have come down hard on the PO about this happening.
And of course after this, if he goes back on probation, he will have the same PO, so expect them to be tough for sure
