I was served a letter from the sheriff saying that I am being sued by a credit card company named Chase for almost 9,000. I have to get in contact with them in 30 days or I will have to go to court. I called and asked for a settlement payment and its only 400 dollars less than what the balances is. What should I do. I am only 23 years old I just starting working and I am only getting 33 hours a week @ 7.25. I don't have nothing but two kids and a car that is not in my name. I have nothing. I live with my parents right now. WHAT SHOULD I DO? HELP PLEASE:eek: :eek:

Contact a non profit credit counseling agency.

Let them deal with creditors on your behalf.

Be sure to research them and ask many questions before beginning to use their services.
