What are the odds that Clinton will emerge from Denver as the Dem candidate? Obama's sun seems to be slowly sinking in the West. Might the delegates see him as the greater liability? Maybe someone will create a pool-----, uh, no, online betting is probably illegal.
Won't happen... Obama will be the dem canidate. I seriously think the only way he can with though is if he chose clinton to run with. I myself... for the first time ever.. will not vote for EITHER Dem or Rep but instead vote Green/Independent. Just my way to say I'm sick of the same crap.
We need major change... and u know what? Its not going to happen with either of the main 2 parties in the white house. All they ever do is promise promise promise.. and rarely deliver on anything. Bs.. sick of it.

I'm looking forward for Obama to select Biden so I can point out all the times Biden said Obama wasn't experienced enough during the endless Dem debates .
It is said Evita will vote for Obama during roll-call. I'll believe it when I see it. She has already won by having the 3 Clintoons making speeches during the convention and a video tribute to the First Philanderer for God's sake!
She is not going to vote for Obama!! Ed Rendell (PA Gov) already said he is voting for Clinton which makes sense since he supported her through the entire primary. I will be surprised if Obama comes out of the convention with the nomination!!
Those Clinton's are slippery and I don't trust them as far as I can throw them and I have a bad shoulder! If that happens Need Karma needs to let me know how the housing market is in the great white north cause I will be moving there!!
I'll say this... Obama has fairly won the nomination, but for all the issues (if people agree with his political views or not), if he doesn't come out of the Democrat's convention with that nomination, we all wake up to a new America, and it won't be pretty. For the Clinton's sake they better hope he becomes president.
PS. In the veep sweepstakes, Biden would be a good choice, if Obama chooses him and he accepts. Biden would therefore bring that experience to the administration that Obama has been criticized for in the past. McCain on the other hand stands a fifty-fifty chance of choosing the wrong veep and losing more Pub base.
Yeah he toyed with screwing the base again but I think he reconsidered after the negative reaction he got. My best guess is that he picks Minnesota's Governor Tim Pawlenty but I would like to see him take a chance and pick Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.
A new name is emerging into the front runner ranks as McCain's VP pick... Ohio's Rob Portman .
He is a former member of Congress as well as OMB director and US Trade Representative. He has solid conservative credentials and would bring with him a great understanding of the economy. He was on the short list of candidates for Treasury Sec. before President Bush selected Paulson for the position. Portman lives close to Dayton, Ohio where McCain is expected to announce his choice next Friday.
Also the speaking slots for the Republican convention have been announced and all the other names mentioned already have scheduled speeches.
