Water filling toilets, from tap & showers pulsates
I have a rental house in Vermont that uses well water and I've recently notived that the water pulsates when it comes out of the tap (or any other location in the house - shower head, toilet tank when filling... ). I do not have a sprinkler system at this house. I noticed that when this water pulsing is happening the pressure gauge near the pressure tank fluctuates constantly. For instance, when I flush a toilet... at every pulse during the tank refill the gauge will move between 25 and 65 (about every 2 to 3 seconds). The gauge typically starts at 40psi.

Do we have a failoing pressure tank or is there another problem?

Thanks in advance for any direction you can give me.

Sounds like a water logged well tank. If you have a bladder tank, the bladder is probably ruptured.
