How do I stop a garnishment in the State of Georgia
I recently discovered that I have a garnishment issued against me by my HOA. :( They have just started deducting money from my payroll check, but I want to pay them off in full. How do I get them to stop the garnishment and stop reducing money from my payroll so I can pay them off and be done with it.

Well first were you served with official court notice and just decided not to go to court? This is where you defend yourself.

You may get it at leats temp stopped if you prove you were never properly served notice of the hearing.

But if they have a legal garnishment there is really nothing you can do.
