I have a ( hand me down ) computer that I want to install windows xp on , but I can't , there is a blue screen that is asking (Insert card or press Ctrl-Alt-Delete to begin). When I press Ctrl-Alt-Delete it ask for user name and password (which I don't have ) , so therefore I can't get off the blue screen so I can install my windows xp. Question,how can I get this off so I can get to the icon screen to install my windows? It won't on the current screen. THANK YOU VERY MUCH IN ADVANCE.

You need to insert the XP disc and format the hard drive. Then you can continue with the XP installation.
